Working with Cooper Cromar, I created images for this office development for CEG at 52-58 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London. The aim of this project was to create a series of architectural visuals to support the planning process.
I worked on this project over a 6 month period with several keystone deliveries from basic massing through to final planning imagery.
As the project was ongoing, I was able to take time to get the final materiality right. I also had an efficient work flow to enable new models to be seamless imported and materiality and texture mapping reapplied, which was important because the architect supplied several revised models through the process.
Overall, the architect on this project had a great working style and approach, which maximised the time I had for the production.
The images I created during this project can be found across a number of articles within the architectural press, including Construction Enquirer, BDaily, and Construction.co.uk.
"Cooper Cromar have an strong working relationship with Gordon and Collabor8. Over recent years Gordon has produced excellent visualisations in support of many of our key Planning Applications for significant urban projects.
Typically these projects require not only the preparation of CGI images of the proposal development but also wider townscape impact and assessment views of the proposal.
Recently Gordon has carried out townscape assessment CGI’s for us on projects in Cadogan Street, Glasgow and Ealing, London where the preparation of this type of imagery has been of fundamental importance in the determination of the planning applications."
